Privacy policy

HKEX IPOS CASHFLOW MANAGEMENT is a private-use application that helps its authorized user reconcile monthly brokerage statements. This policy explains how the application handles Google user data.

Information accessed

When the account holder authorizes access, the application uses Gmail’s read-only permission to read messages and PDF attachments in the connected Gmail account. It looks for brokerage statements and extracts information needed to identify the account and month and calculate interest, including customer name, broker, statement date, interest amount and document fingerprint. Other emails and attachments may be encountered during the search.

How information is used and stored

The application uses this information only to reconcile statements, create account-level and monthly financial records in Notion, identify missing or conflicting statements, and prevent duplicate postings. The Gmail mailbox remains the source of the attachments. Notion stores extracted reconciliation and accounting information; Cloudflare D1 stores monthly account and processing state needed for duplicate prevention. Google, Notion and Cloudflare process data as service providers needed to operate this workflow. Data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with unrelated third parties.

Access and protection

Access is limited to authorized accounts and service credentials. Google access is read-only. The application’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Emails remain in Gmail and financial records remain in Notion until the account holder deletes them or changes their retention settings. Processing state remains in Cloudflare until removed. To request deletion of application processing data, contact the address below. Revoking the application’s Google account access stops future Gmail access but does not automatically delete existing records.
